The Minnesota Valley Men’s Chorale is seeking a permanent part-time Artistic Director beginning in August 2027. Our ideal candidate is an experienced educator with a passion for tenor/bass choral literature and performance.

Now in our 25th year, the MVMC is a traditional volunteer non-auditioned community tenor/bass choir rehearsing and performing in Apple Valley, Minnesota. We perform a challenging repertoire of sacred, secular, classical, and contemporary works.

Our Mission Statement

The Minnesota Valley Men’s Chorale honors and encourages the tradition of lifelong singing and performing men’s choral music that centers around a community that sings together.  We introduce audiences to the power and beauty of men’s repertoire.  We believe in the performance of creative and challenging music that entertains, inspires and affirms with a spirit of friendship and hope.

We rehearse on Monday evenings at Grace Lutheran Church in Apple Valley.

Our two annual concerts are scheduled to avoid the busy Holiday and Summer seasons with a Fall concert in mid-November and a Spring concert in April with possible in-season opportunities for outreach.

MVMC supports the broader tenor/bass choral community through an active commission program utilizing Minnesota and midwestern composers and arrangers. We also award annual scholarships to tenor/bass high school graduates who will continue to sing in choirs in college.
